Over twenty-five years ago a young and ambitious couple stepped off of a plane at the Lihu`e airport.  Unlike most young couples arriving here for their honeymoon or vacation, this couple stepped onto the island knowing they were about to embark on a great adventure...

...an adventure that has now lasted a quarter of a century , and continues to unfold. It is with great joy that the Aloha Church Ohana (family) celebrates and honors twenty-five years of faithful marriage and ministry of Villamor and Grace Galiza.

Their unwavering dedication and their love for one other, the people of Kauai, and the Lord stand as an awesome testimony of God’s goodness. The countless lives and families they have touched are evidence and fruit of commitment to spread the good news of Jesus. Lives have been changed for the better in our church body, throughout Kaua`i, the State of Hawaii, and in nations around the world.

Thank you to all who made our 25th Anniversary Celebration and Luau a great success! On February 11th a packed house ate ono (delicious) food prepared by Mama D and her huge crew. Former Aloha Church Pastor Bill Ashpole told his warm and comedic memories of the early days of Pastor Vill's ministry and marriage. He then officiated at a surprise renewal of vows for Pastor Vill and Grace, with their adult children Silvin and Gracie standing as witnesses. Our Pastor’s commitment to prayer and ushering in revival was highlighted by Pastor Doug Chambers.

Mahalo to all who attended, showering Pastor and Grace with support and aloha. The evening culminated with a pictoral presentation. The song “You Are So Beautiful” played to slides of Grace, from a blushing bride throughout years of ministry to the awesome woman she has become. Pastor’s life was chronicled to the tune of “My Guy”. We watched Silvin and Gracie grow up and the church building rise.

The one-of-a-kind event ended with a gift to our Pastors of the trip they have dreamed about - an Alaskan Cruise!! Mahalo Pastor Vill and Grace for living out your faith, determination and committment before us for 25 years!
